Cleaning, ugh! There is always seems to be so much to clean.
Each time I walk into a bedroom I look up at the ceiling fan and think I really need to clean that, and then two or three months later I finally get to it.
I look at the blinds on the windows each time I open and close them and think I really need to clean these, and then months later I finally get to it.
Every time I put laundry away in my kids rooms I look in their closets and think I really need to go through their clothes and donate the ones that no longer fit. When I run out of hangers I finally get around to putting some clothes in a box.
My list could go on and on like this. Since this happens to me I started to focus on cleaning one room a month. It is deep cleaning, I do the baseboards, clean out the closet, clean the blinds and ceiling fan, vacuum under furniture……
The first room I cleaned this way I felt so good, almost rejuvenated! I also felt less stress because I no longer had that “thing” that needed to be cleaned. The effect of having cleaner rooms and less stress is calmness. As a mom, calmness is very important. I thought it would be overwhelming but it wasn’t. With this way of cleaning I generally have 30 days to finish one room. So I clean one or two things at a time and I’m in that room maybe once or twice a week for a short period of time.
Here is my Monthly Room Cleaning. I combined rooms so that I would be able to do each room twice a year.
How Does it Work?
First, sign up below to receive the One Room a Month Cleaning Guide. Then write down what room or rooms you will clean in what months. Then look at the guide to see what to clean in those rooms. Simple!
While you are only focusing on deep cleaning one room a month you will still do your normal light cleaning of the other rooms.
If you implement this, your way of cleaning will be transformed. If I charged for this guide it would come with a money back guarantee, that’s how confident I am that you will LOVE THIS!
