Ingredients

  • 6 apples (any kind. I used gala, honeycrisp, & fuji)
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 1 1/2-2 tsp cinnamon (use more or less depending on your taste buds)

Instructions

  1. Peel apples with a vegetable peeler. Remove core and cut apples into cubes. Put apples in saucepan. Add apple cider and cinnamon.

  2. Put pan on burner over medium high heat. When cider boils turn to low. Put lid on pan and simmer until apples are fork tender, 12-15 minutes.

  3. Remove pan from burner and mash apples with a potato masher or back of fork until you reach your desired smoothness.

  4. Serve hot or cold. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Enjoy!
