Yield: 12 large or 24 small pancakes
In a bowl mix together flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
Add milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix until smooth.
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat (if using a nonstick pan do not oil it). Pour the batter onto the griddle on pan, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Cook both sides and serve hot.
